PhD Student Stephanie Wood will be giving a presentation at the 10th fib PhD Symposium in Civil Engineering, to be held at Laval University Quebec City, Canada from July 21-23. Her presentation will cover the development of large scale ASR- and freeze-thaw-damaged samples that will be used for a large number of researchers to test and calibrate experimental NDE techniques.
MS student Owen Killeen will be co-presenting research on the Autoclaved Concrete Prism Test for characterizing alkali-silica reactivity. He will team up with Margaret Kimble, a student of Dr. Jennifer Tanner at the University of Wyoming. Their presentation will take place at a cementitious materials characterization workshop at Oregon State University next week.
